Bananas

I've never liked bananas but I've decided to eat a bunch of bananas every day until I like them. So far, I think it's working. I don't think they are quite as disgusting anymore. Overall, I've been trying to eat a lot more fruit these days. I've never been much of a fruit person, I've been more of the ice cream and candy bar persuasion for most of my life. I'm still not sure about how to know when fruit is ripe or not or how to pick the best ones from the store, but I'm learning. I've recently added pears to my repertoire.

I eat bananas more than anything. I'm going to write a blog on different ways to eat bananas to help you with your decision. (and I needed something to write about, it's been too long)

Ronnie, you appear to be coming to a realization on food that I came to not long ago. It's all about open-mindedness when it comes to food. When you eat something, you can't just expect it to have the flavor you want it to have. You have to accept the food for the flavor it has. Once you've truly accepted it for what it is, you will truly begin to enjoy foods you once thought were disgusting (the disgusting simply being due to the fact that you were trying to project your expectations on the food). See, yet another way that an open, liberal mind will help you live a happier life!

Cheers!

As a corollary, I bought my first pineapple and ate it yesterday and I loved it. I plan to buy one a week now.

Be careful, I hear you can die from eating pineapple. Something about how it breaks down the enzymes in your digestive system. Also if you eat too much pineapple you turn yellow, and your hair turns green and spikey.

Also never put fresh pinapple in jello. Just don't do it.

I had to teach myself to eat foods too. So far I have learned to like tomatoes, corn dogs, onion rings (kind of), crackers, and rolls. My next project is going to be french toast. Kudos on the bananas.

You should really watch your banana intake, in reality Ron-Dawg. In fact, they are very nearly the highest in sugar of all the fruits and if you keep eating multiple bananas a day, you will in fact never have a hope of losing weight.
The end.

The real question is whether or not bananas are healthier than deep fried foods or ice cream and occasionally deep fried ice cream. I think I'm making plenty of progress.

Now that I have a wedding counter for you, I think you owe it to me to write about you and Steffy's engagement. It's only fair.

Oh, yeah, you do need to write about the engagement. Plus you need to write about other random things, because I tagged you. And I like that I'm posting this comment on the banana post.

I'm just impressed you know how to spell the word 'banana'. I always spell it 'bananna'. Way to go!
